Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we get asked most often. Can't see what you need? Get in touch.

From start-up to mid-market. Our smallest clients are first-time importers placing a single container; our largest run multi-million pound ongoing sourcing programmes with us. The work is the same — only the scale changes.
Most standard sourcing enquiries are quoted within 48 hours. Complex multi-supplier or custom-product projects typically take 5 to 10 business days, because we'd rather give you accurate numbers than fast guesses.
We have active supplier relationships across Asia (China, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand), Europe (Turkey, Italy, Poland, Portugal), the Middle East (UAE), and the Americas (Mexico, USA). For new countries, we conduct fresh due diligence on every supplier.
Three models depending on the engagement: a transparent agreed margin on landed cost (most common for one-off sourcing), a fixed monthly retainer (for ongoing programmes), or a hybrid fee-plus-savings-share for consulting work. We'll recommend the right one on our first call.
Yes — fully. We handle EORI registration, commodity code classification, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading and the CDS declaration. Most clients never see a customs form.
Every shipment has documented pre-shipment QC. If issues are still found on arrival, we coordinate the supplier dispute, document the problem properly, and pursue resolution — replacement, credit or refund — on your behalf. This is one of the biggest reasons clients work with us.
Every supplier we recommend goes through business licence verification, registration history checks, capacity verification and — for significant orders — an on-site factory audit. We also structure payments in stages (deposit, pre-shipment, balance on bill of lading) so funds aren't released ahead of work being done.
Absolutely — and we particularly enjoy it. First-time importers benefit most from a partner who can stop the avoidable mistakes happening. We'll walk you through every step before your first shipment leaves the factory.
Most clients prefer DAP or DDP terms — meaning we handle everything until the goods arrive at their door, including duties under DDP. We can quote on any incoterm: EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP — whichever fits how you want to manage risk and cost.
Yes. We handle commercial information as strictly confidential. We're happy to sign NDAs for sensitive projects, and we never share buyer information across our client base. UK GDPR applies in full to all personal data we hold.
